Serving People · Building Connection · Strengthening Community

Since 2000

In 2000, a group of like-minded individuals came together with a vision to establish a local church in Mountsandel, a growing suburb on the south side of Coleraine. From the outset, their aim was not only to support a growing congregation, but also to create a building that could serve the wider community.

The result was The Sandel Centre, a 6,000-square-foot facility built at a cost of £350,000. The Centre is owned by Mountsandel Christian Fellowship, with the day-to-day management overseen by Causeway Voluntary Action Trust [CVAT].

Centre News

We want all our clients to benefit from our NEW fully-equipped kitchen when it is completed for a variety of functions — from party catering, weddings, evening events, funeral teas, cookery classes and festive celebrations including Christmas dinner. The facility will be inspected by CC&GC to meet food preparation standards and tight rules will be in place as to who will be able to use it.

We would like to have a selection of trusted chefs, catering providers on our books which will allow our clients to choose the best fit for their event — from a finger buffet, fork supper or full sit-down meal.

Please be aware we are NOT a licensed venue.

The centre closes at 11pm as we have neighbours that we do not want to disturb.
