The Sandel Centre envisages that clients will be able to benefit from the new professional kitchen when it is completed — date to be confirmed — for a variety of functions including party catering, weddings, evening events, funeral teas, cookery classes and festive celebrations, including Christmas dinners.
The facility will be inspected by Causeway Coast and Glens Council for food preparation, and rules will be in place around who will be able to use it.
The Centre wants to have a selection of trusted chefs and catering providers available, allowing clients to choose the best fit for their event — from a finger buffet, fork supper or full sit-down meal.
